Education and Protection
Every child has the right to access safe and quality education. However, 131 million girls around the world are missing out on school, and girls are 50% more likely to lose the opportunity for education than boys.
Sustainable Peace and Governance
We want to identify and create the demand for capacity strengthening both at county and national level by looking at; polices and legislation, accountability mechanisms, strategic planning, among others.
Natural Resource and Climate Change
Africa Social Development Focus has developed Natural Resource and Climate Change programs that are typically designed in response to humanitarian crises including natural disaster and man-made disaster.
Resilience Building and Disaster Response
Natural disasters, climate change, conflicts and political instability have a negative impact on our communities. This makes development programs hard to implement.
Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
Africa Social Development Focus believes that water and sanitation is a major driver and catalyst of improving households’ incomes through food production, livestock keeping and environmental hygiene.
One Health
One Health is the collaborative effort of multiple health science professions, together with their related disciplines and institutions to attain optimal health for people, domestic animals, wildlife, plants, and our environment.
Livelihood Diversification
Nutrition powers children to grow, develop and reach their potential and therefore ASDEF strives to provide nutritious food to the children in order to make the families and communities stronger.
