Climate adaptation and resilience are central to ASDEF’s interventions in arid and semi-arid regions (ASALs), where erratic rainfall, droughts, and land degradation severely threaten food security and livelihoods. ASDEF’s Climate Adaptation and Resilience Program focuses on equipping communities with the tools, knowledge, and systems needed to withstand climate shocks while fostering long-term sustainability. The program integrates approaches in sustainable agriculture, livestock production, water management, and enterprise development to enhance adaptive capacity, economic resilience, and environmental conservation.
